We perform a variety of laboratory methods directly
at our clinic. Among the most common diagnostic procedures are
microbiological, hematological, and biochemical examinations. We can perform these tests not only on dogs and cats, but also on rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, exotic birds, or reptiles. If it is necessary to send a sample to a specialized laboratory, we collect the clinical material and take care of its delivery.
Microbiology
In microbiology, the microscope is our most faithful friend. With its help, we successfully diagnose a range of mycological causes of skin diseases,
protozoan parasites, or
worm eggs in feces. However, animal skin problems are also frequently caused by macroscopic
ectoparasites, such as fleas, biting lice, mites, ticks, chiggers, harvest mites, and others, which we instead tackle with the help of a magnifying glass.
